Crosses we bear

The crosses we bear are not supposed to be heavy enough to crush us,
...but they are heavy enough to bend our knees. ~Author Unknown~
God will give us the strength we need to face each and every challenge that we face....when we look to Him, when we humbly ask Him for the help we need. He never once promised to eliminate the trials of life. For without these, we would not grow closer to Him. As a matter of fact, it would have a reverse effect, we would grow further away from Him. We would become independant of Him. We are all blessed with an inner strength from the Lord. But there are times when that strength is sapped, when we are running on empty.
"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
Isaiah 40:29-31 (N.I.V.)

So when the trials of life drive you to your knees ....... pray.

Thank you so much for your words. What a great way to put it, when life gets to hard to carry it yourself, we definitely need help. Thanks for the reminder.

The only problems we have are the ones we don't take to God. Thanks for the uplifting.
